Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of sitesprout.tech and the website subscription service (the "Service") provided by Claude Consulting LLC ("SiteSprout," "we," "us," or "our"). By signing up for or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

SiteSprout designs, builds, hosts, and maintains a website for your business for a monthly subscription fee. We provide a draft website within approximately 48 hours of your payment and onboarding information being submitted, build revisions based on your feedback, and host your site once approved.

2. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must provide accurate business and contact information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Subscription, Billing & Payment

  • The Service is billed monthly in advance at the rate displayed at checkout (currently $40/month).
  • If you request a new domain registration through SiteSprout, an additional one-time fee (currently $15) applies for the first year, with annual renewal billed thereafter at the then-current rate.
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
  • All fees are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard. Upon cancellation:

  • Your website will remain live until the end of your current billing period, after which it will be taken offline.
  • If you registered a domain through SiteSprout, you have 30 days from the date of cancellation to transfer the domain to another registrar before it may be released or expire. We are not responsible for domains not transferred within this window.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of the business content, logos, and materials you provide to us for use on your website.
  • You grant us a license to use the content you provide solely for the purpose of building and maintaining your website.
  • The design templates, code, and underlying technology used to build your site remain the property of SiteSprout / Claude Consulting LLC.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content, images, or trademarks you provide to us.

6. Domain Registration

Where you request a new domain through SiteSprout, we register the domain on your behalf through a third-party registrar. Domain registration is subject to the registrar's terms and availability. We do not guarantee the availability of any specific domain name.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to publish content that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, infringing, or that violates the rights of any third party. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of this policy.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep your website online and accessible at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including hosting provider outages.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SiteSprout and Claude Consulting LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or for any other reason with reasonable notice.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in New York.
